Gentle + Strong

Gentle + Strong combines seated and standing yoga asana (the poses), breath work, and meditation. Standing variations utilize the chair or wall for balance as needed. This class is for you if: •You’re seeking a yoga class that is both gentle and strength building, as well as functional. •You are recovering from an injury or illness and want to ease into yoga , or need to adjust the practice for other health reasons. •You are improving balance, and the chair can help you safely do so. •You’d like the option of not getting up and down from the floor. •Pregnancy or prenatal physical restrictions make it difficult to move. You will find an increase in your flexibility, strength, and calm at a gentle pace. Please note this is not a Flow class. You will not be getting up and down off of the floor.
